Job Title: PI Logistics Technician
Location: Kearney, NJ
Employment Type: Contract to direct
Industry: Transportation Manufacturing
Compensation: $30-$35/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
  • Some overtime (M-F) may be available during the month of June, but not likely after that.

What You'll Do:
  • Receives, unpack, verify receipt against packing slip, generate goods receipt
  • Quarantine receipt management and notification to the responsible parties for resolution
  • Store materials in railyard, rotation/consolidate parts and updating bin locations daily
  • Pick, Pack, crates and ships various parts/products
  • Operate logistics equipment and inspects daily for maintenance issues
  • Perform cycle counts and participates in physical inventory when required
  • Performs data entry of railyard material movements
  • Quality pick and pack audits order line items
  • Assure the accuracy of shipments of routine and non-routine orders
  • Fulfills daily service material requests
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with supply chain or logistics
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role or vendor-facing role
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel
What Sets You Apart:
  • Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Understanding of domestic and international shipment requirements with government agencies
  • Experience utilizing SAP, Maximo, or any inventory-tracking software
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • This role operates in an environment that is primarily outdoors and exposed to the elements.
  • Physical requirements: Standing and walking for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs assisted
  • Proper PPE must be worn at all times for this role.
