Intern Program Management

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The incumbent will engage cross functionally in the Aero matrixed organisation to aid program management in improving processes for program execution. This may include items such as process mapping, playbook revision, and mock audits. The ultimate output for this role will be provide a tested process flow and readiness report for the upcoming AS9100 audit in Q4.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Own the review and update of the current playbook and processes
  • Execute on cross functional review and evaluations of the process
  • Provide management with regular progress updates
  • Test the process through audits and interviews
  • Produce a final readiness report for the AS9100 audit

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to influence across a matrix organization and work effectively in fast-moving environments
  • Clear, confident communication skills with internal teams
  • Ability to asses, distill, and provide meaningful insights from gathered data
  • Self starter with curiosity and drive to improve daily work in a meaningful way
  • Strong business acumen with an action biased approach

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited educational program, majoring in business, engineering, aviation, or a related field
  • Prior experience working in a fast paced professional environment
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Preference for candidates with airline, manufacturing, or engineering experience
  • Willingness to travel appx 5% of the time.
  • Comfortable with a hybrid work environment based in Chicago, IL.
