Intern Information Security Management

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Information and Cyber Security team in a fast-paced organization within a dynamic and unique industry. Based in Luxembourg (Betzdorf), you will support the Information and Cyber Security team and actively participate in projects to fulfil business needs and secure the SES IT environment. Depending on your skillset and interests we can offer focus areas with a higher share of technical tasks, communication-oriented tasks, organizational/project management tasks or creative/design tasks.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* ISO/IEC 27001 Compliance - Support the maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO/IEC 27001, including assisting with control reviews, documentation updates, and audit preparation activities

  • Policy Compliance - Support information security policy compliance reviews by assessing adherence across business units, identifying gaps, and contributing to remediation actions to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements

* Information Security Awareness - Assist in the delivery of security awareness initiatives

* Automation & Scripting - Contribute to basic automation or scripting tasks, depending on individual skills and interests

* KPI & Reporting - Maintain and enhance information security KPI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making

* Internal Tools & Platforms - Support the continuous improvement of the internal information security portal/website

* Process Improvement - Contribute to the optimisation and enhancement of processes within SES ticketing tools

* Project Support - Assist with a variety of Information Security Roadmap initiatives, offering exposure to a broad range of security projects and domains

YOUR PROFILE

  • Current & advanced bachelor or master student in ICT field or other relevant technical area
  • Interest in the media/telecommunication business and technical interest in satellites
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines
  • Computer literate(standard office applications MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, advanced knowledge considered an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Willingness to learn and interested in new topics
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset
  • EU-nationality or valid work permit
