As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal in a utilities location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. You will remain visible, verify entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening access requests, and supporting security-related protocols for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted and/or operational areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting activity according to post orders and client guidelines.
• Communicate with site personnel, control room staff, and/or emergency contacts regarding access issues, suspicious activity, and changing site conditions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
