Overview

VTG is seeking a Schedule Analystto provide project schedule development and integration support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) - Development and Business Center (DBC) Services Development Directorate (SD). The Program Analyst II will develop and maintain individual project schedules and the integrated master schedule (IMS) for the portfolio of Cyber programs using Microsoft Project as the primary tool. This position is located in Ft. Meade, MD.


What will you do?

The Program Scheduler is responsible for the development, maintenance, and integration of program plans and schedules to meet customer objectives.
Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, planning and maintaining detailed MS Project schedules, to include the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Coordinating and consolidating schedules to ensure all detailed work plans are consistent with SD scheduling policies and included in the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Troubleshooting and monitoring potential scheduling problems.
  • Determining, monitoring and reviewing all project schedules to include resources, interdependences, and risk.
  • Providing input and recommendations to project managers and Senior Management regarding scheduling conflicts/ changes.
  • Maintaining accurate records/ paperwork.
  • Identifying major milestones, decision points, project lifecycle and other project events.
  • Reporting to Senior Management with schedule related status and reports.
  • Facilitating and participating in weekly program and schedule reviews Assisting in recording and tracking program review meeting minutes and action items.
  • Providing planning assistance to program managers as needed.
  • Coordinating agency objectives with division managers and task monitors.
  • Working closely with other schedulers to develop scheduling policies and procedures.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience; or 6+ years of experience without a degree.
  • Proficient experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) MS Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

Preferred Skills:

  • DISA SharePoint (DEPS) experience.
  • PMI Project Scheduling Professional Certification (PMI-SP).
  • MS Project Server experience.

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $60,000-$71,000 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
