Aon is seeking a senior Technology industry leader to develop and advance our Technology client strategy across North America. This opportunity suits an experienced executive who brings deep industry insight, strong market relationships, and a consistent record of driving growth through trusted client partnerships.

As the North America Technology Industry Leader, you will be a visible ambassador for Aon in the Technology sector - recognized externally for your point of view and internally for your leadership. You will work closely with senior clients, colleagues, and global counterparts. You will support business expansion, strengthen client retention, and elevate Aon's position as a leading advisor to Technology companies.

Success in this role will be measured by steady business development, expansion and retention of key client relationships, and sustained market impact.

What the day will look like

Market & Revenue Leadership

  • Lead Aon's Technology industry growth strategy across North America, with accountability for measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Drive expansion and retention of key client relationships by delivering differentiated insights and solutions tailored to the Technology sector.
  • Partner with regional and national leaders to support sophisticated sales opportunities, major renewals, and strategic pursuits.
  • Collaborate across Aon's capabilities to bring combined, cross-disciplinary solutions to Technology clients.
Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership
  • Serve as a recognized leader in the Technology industry, with a strong external profile among clients, prospects, and industry leaders.
  • Lead and participate in industry forums, executive roundtables, conferences, and client events.
  • Develop and share forward-looking perspectives on trends, risks, and opportunities shaping the Technology sector.
  • Contribute to white papers, executive briefings, and other market-facing content that strengthens Aon's industry reputation.
  • Stay closely connected to Aon's global Technology community to ensure alignment and leverage global insights for North America clients.
Client & Colleague Impact
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, bringing informed, strategic perspectives to their most important business challenges.
  • Support colleagues across markets and regions by sharing industry knowledge and helping teams deliver outstanding client experiences.
  • Play a visible role in firmwide initiatives that advance Aon's Technology strategy and long-term growth objectives.
Talent & Culture
  • Attract, engage, and develop a strong community of Technology-focused leaders and colleagues from various backgrounds.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • 10+ years of experience in the Technology industry, with proven success in senior leadership, client engagement, and business growth.
  • Established network of senior Technology executives and industry leaders.
  • Proven track record to influence at the executive level and serve as a trusted advisor to sophisticated organizations.
  • Strong commercial savvy, strategic approach, and executive presence.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $350,000 to $400,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

A summary of all the benefits offered for this position:
