Internship - Cloud Computing Engineering

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Education: Working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Information Systems and maintaining a 3.2 core GPA or higher.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good oral and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient grammar, sentence structure and written communication skills. Good with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Hours: 40
• Duration: 12 weeks (Summer Intern Program)
• Office Environment: 100% Remote

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• This intern will create a CI/CD pipeline to deploy communication infrastructure into AWS.
• They will review and modernize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terraform Cloud which is triggered by GitHub Actions.
• Assist with validating that the environment is functional after it is deployed, which may include writing automation.
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Software Release Management, Cloud Platform Engineering, and IT.

• Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
• Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
