Job Summary

The Warehouse Service Associate is responsible for ensuring medical equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and ready for patient use. This role involves cleaning, disinfecting, inspecting, and performing minor repairs on a variety of medical products within a service center environment, with occasional work at customer locations. The position requires strong attention to safety, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage a dynamic workload while maintaining compliance with operational and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities



  • Clean, disinfect, and prepare medical equipment for patient use in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform operational checks and minor repairs on equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and cosmetic components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and pre-installation checks to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
  • Load, unload, transport, and secure medical equipment using proper handling and safety techniques.
  • Move and maneuver equipment within service centers and customer locations as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including participation in 5S activities.
  • Identify and address safety concerns and comply with all safety policies and training requirements.
  • Use tools, gauges, and electronic meters to diagnose and adjust equipment performance.
  • Complete required documentation, including service records, reports, and compliance forms.
  • Utilize electronic devices and systems to track, enter, and retrieve service information.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and customer demands while maintaining productivity and service quality.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support service operations.


Job Requirements



  • Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds using proper safety techniques.
  • Ability to move and handle large medical equipment, including items weighing up to 1680 pounds using appropriate equipment and processes.
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and service instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including use of mobile devices and data entry systems.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


Work Experience



  • Experience in equipment maintenance, warehouse operations, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Experience handling or servicing medical equipment is a plus.
