Job Description	ECU Department of Joyner Library Services is currently seeking several Technology Assistants. Research & Instructional Services Department of Joyner Library is currently seeking Tech Student Assistants to help provide support to the department's faculty and staff. Duties include but are not limited to the following: (Primary Duty) Providing patron assistance at the Research Desk. Assisting faculty and staff. Opening and closing service desk. Shelving and shelf-reading processes. Other duties as assigned. Hours: 10-15 hours per week Wage: Undergraduate: $10/hour; Graduate: $15/hour
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)	Qualifications Candidates must exhibit professionalism and have good communication and customer service skills. Candidates must be intellectually curious, and willing to learn. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and the availability to work afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. Candidates should possess some familiarity with Joyner's website and databases as well as the research process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and internet searching is required. Familiarity with instant messaging technology is a plus.
