What we do: TheStrategic Positioningteam is the sales enablement arm of The Trade Desk's client-facing organization, focused on accelerating revenue growth through bestinclass strategic storytelling.The team partners closely with Sales and Client Services and works crossfunctionally with Product, Marketing, Insights, Business Intelligence, and Training to ensure sales narratives are aligned to platform capabilities, roadmaps, and The Trade Desk's position in the broader AdTech ecosystem. As aStrategic Positioning Manager, you will serve as a dedicated strategic partner to a North America sales team, supporting a CPG book of business.You will integrate directly with sellers to drive upsell and expansion initiativesintended to advance advertiser and agency relationships and revenue. You will lead the development ofbespoke, clientspecific sales narrativesfor priority opportunities, translating complex platform capabilities into clear, compelling stories that drive revenue.These narratives will be designed for reuse and scale, with ongoing optimization informed by seller and client feedback. At the Manager level, you will help execute the sector's longterm vision byidentifyingemerging industry trends, shaping how key topics are positioned for agency partners, and scaling that work across the broaderStrategic Positioningorganization.You will be expected to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, andoperateeffectively in highpressure, highvolume environments. This role is ideal for a strategic, detailoriented storyteller with a passion for simplifying complexity.You will become a subject matter expert on The Trade Desk platform and own the creation of sales collateral that clearly communicates technical concepts to agencies and advertisers.You are datadriven, proactive, and collaborative, and you thrive in a fastmoving environment where you serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and frontline sellers.An affinity for marketing, AdTech, and datadriven storytelling-and a desire to shape the future of advertising-is essential. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
