Position Summary:
The candidate will integrate into our AIM (AI+Imaging+Medicine) lab team to conduct research in the field of artificial intelligence in biomedicine and also provide necessary support for other research projects. The focus will be agentic AI research and related technical development in biomedical field, including brain tumor, traumatic brain injury and others.

Essential Functions:
-The candidate will work on large language model, agentic AI and other AI models and develop applications to biomedical projects.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
-MS degree in computer science or related field, ideally both MS and BS are in the related field.
-Proven record of applying AI technologies in biomedicine.
-Being able to integrate into our existing lab team to conduct research.
-Excellent communication skills. -At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate for this position is $35.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
