Responsibilities: - Material Preparation: - Assist in the preparation of materials for the bun cutting process. - Organize and stage foam materials for efficient workflow. - Machine Setup: - Collaborate with the Bun Cutter Operator to set up and adjust the cutting machine according to specifications. - Ensure the proper alignment and functioning of the equipment. - Quality Control: - Conduct visual inspections of foam materials to identify any defects or irregularities. - Assist in maintaining quality standards by following established procedures. - Bun Cutting: - Feed foam materials into the bun cutting machine according to production requirements. - Monitor the cutting process and make adjustments as directed. - Material Handling: - Assist in the movement and transportation of cut foam materials. - Organize and stack cut foam buns for further processing or packaging. - Cleanliness and Organization: - Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from debris. - Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies. - Safety Compliance: - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines related to the operation of machinery. - Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. - Documentation: - Record production data and quantities as instructed. - Complete production reports and documentation accurately. - Communication: - Communicate effectively with the Bun Cutter Operator and other team members. - Report any issues or challenges encountered during the bun cutting process. - Continuous Improvement: - Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. - Provide feedback on potential improvements to the production process. Qualifiations: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus. - Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. - Basic understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting. - Physical ability to lift and move materials as required. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
