Job Description Summary
The HR Compliance Analyst supports the development, implementation, auditing, monitoring and evaluation of HR Compliance programs' structure and processes that ensure organizational compliance with applicable federal and state laws and Internal policies. Key areas include monitoring and auditing of processes related to recruitment, onboarding, records, reporting, data management, and related areas.
Must be able to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while providing superior team support.

What you'll do as a HR Compliance Analyst:

  • Assist with preparing and conducting of annual and ad hoc internal HR audits in coordination with Manager to proactively monitor HR processes.
  • Monitors and responds to HR Compliance inquiries independently and under minimal direction of the Manager.
  • Provides guidance and maintains resources for field HR in the areas of procedures, Form I-9, E-Verify, , audit process and other compliance initiatives.
  • Manages user accounts for HR Compliance systems and troubleshoots reported issues.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry and legal requirements related to day-to-day management of compliance inquiries, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Assists in developing and updating applicable policies and procedures, reports, and training materials.
  • Develops and fosters working relationships with internal teams (i.e. HR Teammates, IT, Legal, HRIS, Recruiting, Accounting, etc.) to facilitate completion of tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications you'll bring as a HR Compliance Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree with at least two years relevant work experience, preferably in a regulated industry is required.
  • Experience conducting HR compliance audits and ability to perform basic research.
  • Experience with analysis, interpretation and reporting of data, preferably with employment regulations.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Strong computer skills including mastery of navigating web browsers, Outlook, SharePoint, report generation and presentation development.
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel skills such as formatting, creating complex formulas, and VLOOKUP.
  • Ability to concurrently handle multiple responsibilities with highest level of accuracy, accountability, and reliability.
  • Knowledge of Onboarding HRIS as it relates to analyzing teammate data and query reports. Working knowledge of Workday and PeopleSoft is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in diverse and fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
