About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Employee Communications Specialist - a seasoned communications strategist who operates with the autonomy and impact of a senior individual contributor. This role requires someone who brings deep craft in writing, a sharp instinct for audience, and the credibility to influence and counsel senior leaders across the company. You will serve as a trusted advisor, strategic architect, and hands-on communicator - owning high-complexity initiatives end-to-end while helping elevate the overall practice of employee communications at Adobe.

What You'll Do

Strategic Communications Leadership

  • Own and drive enterprise-wide employee communications strategies that align with Adobe's global corporate narrative, business priorities, and cultural values.
  • Lead the development of integrated communication plans for high-visibility initiatives spanning organizational change, product launches, executive programs, and employee experience.
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to VP- and SVP-level leaders, providing counsel on messaging, timing, channel strategy, and risk.
  • Identify opportunities to advance Adobe's internal brand and strengthen employee connection to purpose, products, and leadership.

Executive & Leadership Communications

  • Develop and execute executive communications strategies for senior leaders, including narrative frameworks, keynote speeches, all-hands presentations, written communications, and video scripts.
  • Build and maintain authentic, differentiated executive voices that resonate across diverse global employee audiences.
  • Support leaders through change and crisis communications, partnering with Legal, Employee Experience (HR), Security, and other functions as needed.
  • Lead executive messaging for high-profile company moments including earnings communications, reorgs, leadership transitions, and strategic announcements.

Employee Experience & Culture Communications

  • Design and implement strategic communications programs that bring the employee experience to life - covering benefits, compensation, DEI, recognition, facilities, and more.
  • Build the employee experience narrative that connects HR and business priorities to Adobe's broader strategy and employer brand.
  • Partner with Employee Experience (HR) teams to translate complex programs into clear, compelling, and timely employee communications.
  • Lead or contribute to employee listening programs, focus groups, and feedback loops that inform strategy and improve communication effectiveness.

Content Creation & Editorial Excellence

  • Produce a broad range of high-quality communications deliverables, including:
  • Key message frameworks and strategic communication plans
  • All-hands and town hall scripts, talking points, and FAQs
  • Internal articles, leadership blogs, video narratives, and digital content
  • Executive presentations and storylines for internal audiences
  • Intranet and digital channel content
  • Uphold editorial standards across all content - ensuring clarity, accuracy, and tone alignment with Adobe's brand voice.
  • Champion a consistent internal narrative that reinforces Adobe's purpose, values, and strategic priorities globally.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders including Employee Experience (HR), Legal, Finance, Product Marketing, PR, Talent Marketing, and regional communications leads.
  • Coordinate with global and regional teams to ensure consistent messaging and localization of communications programs.
  • Provide communications counsel and best practices guidance to business partners and regional teams around the world.
  • Model and mentor strong communications practices across the broader team.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define measurable KPIs for all major communications programs and report on performance and impact on a regular cadence.
  • Analyze employee feedback, engagement data, and channel performance to continuously refine strategy and approach.
  • Benchmark internally and externally to bring innovation, fresh thinking, and best practices to Adobe's communications programs.
What You Bring

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in internal/employee communications, executive communications, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated success leading communications strategies for large, global, matrixed organizations - ideally in technology or high-growth environments.
  • A strong portfolio of executive communications work, including speeches, all-hands content, change communications, and strategic narratives.
  • Experience working directly with VP- and C-suite leaders as a trusted advisor and thought partner.
  • Track record of owning and driving complex, cross-functional communications programs from concept to measurable outcomes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills: ability to adapt voice and style across audiences, formats, and levels of complexity.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect business context to employee experience and communications impact.
  • Strong executive presence and the confidence to challenge, advise, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously with precision and calm.
  • Highly collaborative, with the interpersonal skills to build trust across organizational and cultural boundaries.
  • Data-driven mindset: comfortable defining, tracking, and presenting performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) required; experience with Adobe products (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and content management/intranet platforms a plus.
  • BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $129,200 -- $250,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $173,000 - $250,550

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
