As a Strategic and Operational Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for participating in strategic and operational planning projects for the Health Planning Department. This position will work with project teams and within the Performance Improvement team in order to improve efficiency and eliminate waste within processes, complete assessments, facilitate and implement Lean Six Sigma techniques and workshops and drive strategic conversations with clients. You will also be engaged in strategic planning projects supporting project initiatives and coordinate aspects of project work. Responsibilities:
Travel to client locations to gather, analyze and present findings Prepare and deliver presentations and written reports for internal and external clients as well as conferences, scientific journals and other publications Assist with the preparation and facilitation for process improvement workshops influencing executives and educating leaders on integration of best practices through realization of improved outcomes Complete root cause analyses Complete current state assessments Assist with operational facility planning as well as strategic planning Assist with leading and maintaining cutting edge knowledge of best practices regarding Lean concepts, disruptive operational strategies, and implementation methodologies Participate with teams in proposal writing/other duties as assigned to market process improvement services Assist clients in transition and activation planning needs and prepare them for patient day one
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health related field preferred Lean Six Sigma Certification or PMP preferred Experience in A/E/C or healthcare industry preferred Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to maintain multiple simultaneous projects, working alone or in a team setting Experience with group facilitation skills leading executives and large groups through process improvement events such as 3P, Kaizen and various process improvement workshops and training events Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Ability to interact professionally with clients and develop projects directed at solving problems as well as communicating solutions Experience with techniques and technologies for accessing and analyzing big data considered to be a bonus Excellent computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite (preferably Visio), Miro/Mural, SmartSheets Ability to articulate innovative ideas to senior Researchers and strategic business partners Potential to Travel up to 50%; passport required. Local candidates preferred
