Senior Business Systems Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for an onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Farmers Branch, TX. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity.

This role is part of the workforce technology domain, focusing on managing HR data within a data warehouse and repository. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will analyze business requirements, direct process improvement projects, and work closely with data engineers and business partners to enhance technology applications.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and production specifications for application changes
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes
• Direct business process improvement projects for internal business groups
• Identify and document all system constraints, implications, and consequences of various proposed system changes
• Provide recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues
• Gather requirements from business units and translate them for programmers and developers
• Manage business partner relationships
• Perform quality engineering and test scripting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in a business systems analyst role
• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience with Jira, XRAY, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and Power Query
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time

Desired skills:

• Python programming experience
• Ability to read code
• Knowledge of Big Data concepts (Hadoop/Hive)
• Experience with Hive Programming (HQL)

Pay range: $48.83 - $56.83 per hour
