Employment Type: Contract (3 months)

Compensation: $33.00-$36.00 /hr.
Schedule: 9/80 hrs/Week.
About the Opportunity:
  • The Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial and accounting operations of the Global Business by performing a variety of accounting tasks.
  • This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting.
  • Perform ad hoc projects assigned.
  • Support special projects and initiatives within the finance department.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 6+ years of accounting experience.
What Sets You Apart:
  • The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within the finance team.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards affecting financial reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • CPA.
