We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff Team to join our Global Markets team. This role is located in New York, NY. Role overview : BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President to join the Chief of Staff team supporting the Global Head of Markets. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this highly visible role partners closely with senior leadership to drive strategic coordination, executive communications, and operating discipline across Global Markets. The ideal candidate brings strong business judgment, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to design and manage effective operating cadences that enable alignment, accountability, and execution in a fast-paced, global organization. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Partner with the Chief of Staff to the Global Head of Markets to execute strategic priorities and deliver core Chief of Staff responsibilities, including governance, leadership support, and executive communications.
- Design, implement, and continuously refine the operating cadence for Global Markets, including leadership meetings, management committees, business reviews, planning cycles, and governance forums.
- Own end-to-end preparation and follow-through for leadership routines, including agendas, pre-reads, presentations, action tracking, and progress monitoring.
- Produce high-quality executive materials such as leadership presentations, strategic narratives, business updates, briefings, and talking points.
- Provide leverage to senior leadership by anticipating needs, shaping content, and driving execution on critical initiatives.
- Partner with finance, strategy, HR, business management, and other functions to support performance tracking, resource planning, and delivery against business objectives.
- Support leadership preparation for internal governance forums, client engagements, town halls, offsites, and regulatory or industry engagements.
- Lead special projects on behalf of the Chief of Staff and leadership team, including cross-functional initiatives and organizational effectiveness efforts.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 7-10 years of experience in strategy, business management, Chief of Staff, COO, consulting, or related roles, ideally within financial services.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in complex, fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing executive-level presentations, briefings, and talking points.
- Proven ability to design and run effective operating cadences and governance routines that drive alignment, accountability, and execution.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguity into structured action.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, influence without authority, and partner effectively across senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with performance metrics and management reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data visualization or BI tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $126,000 and $228,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
