What to Expect

A Process Technician for Optimusis responsible forensuring the smooth operation and optimization of manufacturing processes. Key duties include monitoring and adjusting equipment, performing routine repairs of Optimus subsystems, and troubleshooting issues tomaintainproduct quality and efficiency. They must be proficient in various technical skills, such as rework, partssalvage, andusing specialized software and machinery. Additionally, Process Technicians conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to resolve defects and improve processes. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential to prioritize tasks and implement process changes. Leadership abilities are valued, particularly in training and guiding peers, as well as leading investigations and process improvements. A strong focus on safety, documentation, and adherence to standard operating procedures is crucial. Technicians must be adaptable, capable of working across multiple projects or lines, and committed to continuous learning and development. A Process Technician ensures operational efficiency, product quality, and safety byleveragingtechnicalexpertise, problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork.


What You'll Do
  • Investigate and implement countermeasures to improve processCpkand product yield, reducing scrap, and supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives

  • Work with Engineering on production line improvement projects and ensure manufacturing instructions are always available and current

  • Sending reports to summarize and analyze yield, the results of root cause analysis investigations to a wide audience of stakeholders

  • Manage projects potentially involving multiple departments and/or outside vendors

  • Disposition, repair, or rework, all non-conforming materials that are produced by the manufacturing line

  • Day to day coverage of production line process, including rapid response on out-of-control processes to minimize cost and maximize productivity


What You'll Bring
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment

  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems

  • Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills

  • Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access,etc.)

    Expected Compensation
    $28.75 - $37.41/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
