JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Bisanz lab (bisanzlab.com) at the Pennsylvania State University, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (University Park, PA) is searching for a limited-term laboratory technician to work on a project involving the interactions of gut microbes and environmental toxicants. The candidate will be responsible for sample processing and multi-omic characterization of in vitro and animal experiments. The candidate is required to have demonstrated experience with lab automation (OT-2 and Integra mini96), high throughput automated NGS library prep, Illumina sequencing, and anaerobic microbe isolation and genome sequencing.
