The Mission Driver Enablement Center (MDEC), Service Operations organization, is seeking an Engineering and Business Process Intern to work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and enhance solutions to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to apply knowledge and gain practical experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, the intern will focus on operational and engineering tasks that support organizational objectives, accelerate readiness, and enhance operational delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with a variety of organizations to understand processes & outputs in a teaming work environment to develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collect, organize, and manage information from various stakeholders for effective task completion and creation of reusable documentation.
  • Support tasks related to project tracking, risk identification, and stakeholder communications.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to help analyze information and create output efficiently.
  • Assist with improving how information, tasks, and processes are organized across workstreams.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited College/University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or similar field.
  • Must have a minimum overall 3.3 GPA or higher.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office/M365 products tools to effectively collaborate and complete tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into practical instruction.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment where collaboration, effective prioritization, and flexibility are necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with technical and non-technical teams as well as organizational leadership.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks / projects concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain high performance in virtual work environment and effectively collaborate with virtual teams.
  • This position requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from, as well as access to reliable, access-controlled high-speed internet.

Clearance Required:

  • Ability to obtain up to a Secret clearance upon hire and as required to support customer projects.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Prior experience supporting project management tasks.
  • Prior experience and/or coursework focused on corporate business or finance concepts.
  • Prior experience and/or coursework in IT infrastructure and security concepts.

Pay Range:Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
