Business Process Migration Specialist (Google Workspace to Microsoft 365)

Vaco is partnering with a growing organization in the Phoenix area that is actively transitioning core business operations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. This role sits at the center of that transformation, working directly with business stakeholders to migrate, modernize, and improve critical workflows currently built in Google Sheets. These processes support key operational functions, including new store openings, financial incentives, training programs, and internal initiatives.

This is a highly collaborative, business-facing role for someone who can bridge the gap between technical tools and real-world operations. You will help translate existing processes into scalable Microsoft-based solutions using Excel, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related tools, while also ensuring end users are equipped to own and maintain these processes moving forward.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and document current workflows built in Google Sheets
  • Migrate and redesign processes into Microsoft 365, primarily using Excel, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint
  • Execute both straightforward lift-and-shift migrations and more complex workflow redesigns to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Facilitate working sessions with business teams to gather requirements, validate logic, and identify pain points
  • Build and configure Power Automate flows and Power Apps solutions to support business operations
  • Provide hands-on support during and after migration, including troubleshooting and optimization
  • Train and coach business users to ensure adoption and long-term ownership of new processes
  • Create clear, user-friendly documentation for workflows, tools, and best practices
  • Collaborate with implementation partners to ensure alignment on process definitions and technical execution

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data manipulation, and process-driven use cases
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate and Power Apps, including building workflows and business applications
  • Experience working with or migrating data from Google Sheets or Google Workspace environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down and rebuild business processes
  • Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders in a collaborative, onsite environment
  • Experience supporting end users through training, documentation, and process adoption
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, Teams, or Copilot within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Background in business process improvement, operations, or process reengineering
  • Familiarity with data governance and best practices during system migrations
  • Experience working in environments undergoing digital transformation or system consolidation
  • Exposure to change management or user enablement initiatives

Compensation

$55to $65per hour, depending on experience. This is a W2 contract role with Vaco, and full benefits are available including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
