Security Officer - Mail Distribution Center

As a Security Officer in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. At a busy logistics and distribution location, Allied Universal Officers help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and patrol assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. This role blends a visible presence with strong customer service and communication while supporting daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, gates, and loading areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, trailer lots, and dock locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, and other security-related documentation while reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
