As a Security Officer Access Screening in Perryville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, verifying authorization for entry, and supporting access control activities at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or credential checkpoints to help manage the flow of people, vehicles, and deliveries in a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations, noting and reporting security-related concerns, damaged equipment, and/or unauthorized access activity.
• Complete required reports and logs related to visitor processing, truck arrivals, access events, and other security-related observations in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
