Summary
This role supports Utility Operations by collecting and analyzing performance data from multiple systems, maintaining KPI databases, and producing monthly reports. It also includes preparation of presentation materials and briefing documents for senior leadership and NYPA Trustee meetings. Additionally, the position documents and continuously improves reporting processes to streamline and enhance performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data gathering, processing, and issuance of monthly Utility Operations Reports (KPI portfolio) including background information necessary to explain metric dynamics over time.
- Provide support in preparation of materials for the Operations Trustee Report, COO Report. Assist in preparation of presentation slides and briefing materials used by Operations Senior management during NYPA Trustee meetings. Facilitate communication with Executive and Secretary Offices.
- Participate in preparation of presentation materials for periodic Utility Operations meetings.
- Gather data from sources internal to NYPA to perform analyses, issue reports, and metrics in order to effectively monitor Operations performance and provide timely information on the department's ability to meet set targets.
- Gather data from various software platforms GADS, Maximo, SAP, Clearpoint to perform analyses and issue reports to NYPA's internal and external stakeholders. Maintain and update KPI databases.
- Document existing and future processes in a form of structured document procedures.
- Constantly review and propose modifications resulting in improvement and streamlining of current reporting practices.

- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- ClearPoint System, MS Visio, Tableau, Power BI and MS Project knowledge desirable.
Education, Experience and Certifications
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistical Analysis, Engineering, or the equivalent is required.
- Analytical experience.
- Utility related experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements

The estimated salary range for this position is: $69,000 - $94,600. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
