Distribution Coordinator Oubound B Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete all shipment transactions into Blue Yonder in a timely manner.
• Use other associated programs as needed (IMI, Oracle, E2 Open, Google Docs).
• Respond to carrier requests (via phone or electronically) for shipment tracking and/or tracing and communicate any delays to order originators.
• Compile data for management analysis on an as needed basis (audits).
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies via research in Blue Yonder.
• Maintain files for shipping and receiving daily.
• Prepare necessary backorder and/or other communications to internal and external customers on an as needed basis (order status, timing, etc.).
• May perform kitting, labeling, or other duties prior to shipping products, as necessary.
• Prepare necessary documents for shipping and receiving goods.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workloads.
• Initiative-taking and dependable; works well with others or individually on tasks.
• Other duties as defined by leadership.
• Demonstrate and promote a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.
• Promote and ensure a safe work environment.
• Ability to schedule shipments.

Job Specific Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Deliver quality products and services through adherence to company standards and operating procedures.
• Must be able to stay on task, performing essential job duties, with an elevated level of accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, basic English communication.
• Initiative-taker; Ability to make sound decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems when making decisions.
• Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with subordinates as well as all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
• You must pass the forklift written test and driver test that is given by the company.

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

• Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Previous experience and/or knowledge of Blue Yonder.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a distribution environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be high.

Physical Demands:

The employee must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds.

Other Essential Elements Not Listed Above Include:

Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills, Microsoft Office Suite fluent.

Machines/Tools Used:

Forklifts, electric and manual floor jacks, computer systems, and other department specific tools. All tools and equipment which are required to be used by the employees shall be supplied and kept under repair by the Employer at no cost to the employee. These items must be kept on the premises. Also includes manual floor jacks, computer systems, and other department specific tools.
