Title:Assistant Professor of Respiratory Therapy and Director of Clinical Education Division: Provost's Office Department: Kinney College of Nursing & Health Professions FLSA Status:Exempt Salary Range:Annual Salary EEO Job Group:2 C5 Position Summary The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Professor of Respiratory Therapy and Director of Clinical Education (DCE). The position is tenure track and will begin May 11 or when filled. Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities include: curriculum/course education development; teaching courses in the entry-level and degree advancement BSRT programs; working with our clinical setting partners; engaging in scholarship activities (e.g., peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations) related to the discipline; engaging in service activities at the university, professional and community levels; participation at the national and state level in professional organizations and activities; contribution to community well-being through service related to professional and other expertise; and supporting the mission of the program and Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions. Required Knowledge and Skills To qualify for the Assistant Professor position, the candidate must have a Master's Degree. Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements Standard work hours are 8-4:30 Monday through Friday. Routine local travel up to a 75-mile radius of the USI campus to visit clinical sites is required.
