Low Voltage Cable Technician (1st & 2nd Shift) Location: Grove City, OH or New Albany, OH Pay: $22-$25/hour Type: ContracttoHire (6 months) Hours: ~58 hours/week with overtime Shifts: 1st or 2nd shift (must be flexible) Job Overview We are hiring entrylevel Low Voltage Cable Technicians to support largescale data center installations in Grove City and New Albany, OH. This role offers handson experience, consistent overtime, and longterm growth opportunities in a fastpaced construction environment. Schedule (NonNegotiable) * Monday-Friday: 10hour days * Saturday: 8 hours * Total: ~58 hours per week * Must be willing to work both 1st and 2nd shift * Overtime is required Responsibilities * Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling per TIA/EIA standards * Assist with RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations * Perform basic termination and punchdown work * Label and identify cables accurately * Assist with cable testing using tools such as Fluke or EXFO (under supervision) * Gain exposure to fiber cable handling and dressing * Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean worksite * Take direction from lead technicians and supervisors Required Qualifications * Entrylevel candidates encouraged to apply * Prior construction or warehouse experience * Basic knowledge or exposure to lowvoltage cabling * Strong attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders (up to 20 ft), and work in tight spaces * Must pass BGC and drug screen * Must not have worked in a META data center within the last 6 months * Ability to commit to the schedule listed above Nice to Have * Structured cabling or telecom experience * Prior termination or punchdown work * Data center or commercial construction exposure Work Environment * Indoor construction / data center setting * Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting * Use of hand tools and ladders * Moderate noise levels * Safetyfocused environment with physical demands Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.
