Summary:

Seeking a qualified Business Analyst to support the Smart Metering Program, deploying the latest gas metering infrastructure and systems across multiple states. This role is part of a larger program team delivering a 7-10-year roadmap for the next generations of smart metering and devices.

Job Responsibilities:

* Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

* Performing metering deployment requirements gathering and analysis across multiple workstreams.

* Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings via Teams.

* Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

* Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and the program management team.

* Gathering critical metering deployment information from meetings with various stakeholders to align deployment interdependencies.

* Work closely with project team, operations, and managerial staff.

* Ensure deployment solutions meet business needs and requirements.

* Communicate technical meter specification changes and document progress against planned milestones.

* Developing integration test plans for gas metering systems across internal and external environments.

* Data mapping from a client server application to SAP from end-user requirements.

* Performing end-user acceptance testing as part of the project team.

* Validating meter data across an IT architecture solution, end-to-end.

* Updating and maintaining metering best practices and procedures.

* Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

* Serving as a liaison between program stakeholders and metering end-users.

* Guiding standardization and IT testing best practices with cross-functional teams.

* Follow change management and sustainability internal practices.

* Evaluating business processes related to metering devices, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing solutions.

* Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies related to the deployment, to benefit the long-term program.

* Monitor and report Intelis Meter Project stakeholder changes across workstreams.

* Reports to Advanced Metering Program Manager in support of ongoing testing and deployment.

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.

* 5-7 years experience required.

This is an ONSITE W2 opportunity in Houston - only local candiates will be considered.
