The Lead MR Technologist performs complex MRI procedures
using 1.5T and 3.0T systems while providing direct leadership and supervision
to ensure efficient patient care and imaging operations. Responsibilities
include operating MRI-safe devices, assisting with interventional procedures,
administering contrast materials under radiologist supervision and maintaining
detailed patient and imaging records in compliance with regulations. You will
assist in coordinating patient flow, supervising staff performance, enforcing
safety protocols and ensuring proper equipment and supply management. You will
also provide patient education, monitor patient safety and their comfort while
adhering to strict confidentiality and infection control standards across all
UCLA Health System imaging locations.

Salary Range: $60.51 - $79.82 Hourly

  • Licenses


    • A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required


OR you need



    • A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) -
      required


  • At least 5 years of MRI experience - required
  • At least 3 years of Senior MRI status - preferred
  • AA Degree - required
  • BS Degree - preferred
  • BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red
    Cross - required
  • Venipuncture certificate - required
  • Graduate from a Radiologic Technologist Program -
    required
  • Ability to train technical staff in clinical
    applications
  • Ability to appropriately confront and resolve issues
