Position Overview


Primary Purpose of the Position
The Department of English is seeking a pool of candidates for temporary Adjunct Faculty positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates should be able to teach general education courses focused on academic writing or literature analysis. In addition, candidates must be willing to hold office hours and adhere to department and university policies.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Department of English offers an undergraduate degree in English and minor programs in dramatic arts and African American Literature. Our innovative academic programs prepare students to assume leading roles in society, industry, and the academy.

  • One or more years of experience teaching writing to undergraduate students in face-to-face environments
