Summary The position supports the Director of Special Assets and the SAM Governance & Practices Manager by providing operational, reporting, and governance support for the Special Assets portfolio. This role assists with portfolio reviews, risk rating and accrual status updates, documentation management, and committee processes, while ensuring data accuracy, procedural compliance, and timely system updates across multiple platforms. Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Governance & Practices Manager with conducting portfolio reviews to achieve quality assurance of the team's efforts, including proper risk ratings and accrual statuses, resolution projections, collateral assessments and timely charge-offs. Support the ongoing maintenance and updates of SAM procedures in partnership with the Governance & Practices Manager. Maintain, update and develop department forms and documentation as needed to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance. Participates in the quarterly CLAR process to include validating the CLAR list received by Credit Analytics, preparing the CLAR packages and taking minutes for CLAR meetings. Submit and document any risk rating and status changes approved in the CLAR meetings. Complete SAM transfer requests for non-SBA loans received through Service Now, maintain SAM Transfer Request log and confirm all changes are made in the appropriate Core system. Responsible for submitting risk rating and accrual status changes in SharePoint, maintain SharePoint Changes Master List and confirm changes have been made in the appropriate Core system. Compile 1099 forms to submit to Loan Maintenance at the end of each quarter, attend Tax Reporting Validation meetings, and perform verification and balancing at year end. Attend and take minutes for the monthly Special Assets Committee meeting. Assist the Director of Special Assets and the SAM Governance & Practices Manager in providing information for audit requests, including internal and third-party audits, internal loan review, and regulatory reviews. Requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to create, analyze, and optimize complex documents, spreadsheets, and presentations to support departmental operations.

Work Environment
