RN - PACU - Casual Status- Mercy Chula Vista

This is a 12 hour varied shift RN position that is Casual status also known as Per Diem in the PACU department at Mercy Chula Vista. The minimum availability requirement is one shift per month. There is also possible weekend and call shifts. The training schedule would initially be full time before moving into casual status.

Join our team an RN in the Recovery Room where you will provide patient care assessments, plan and implement a plan of care and evaluate patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Education/Specialized Skills

• One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within critical care or PACU

• California Registered Nurse License

• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association

• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English

• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred Education/Specialized Skills

• Bachelor's degree in nursing

• 2 years PACU and pre-surgical evaluation experience

• Spanish speaking

• EPIC Experience
