The Los Angelesoffice of SmithGroupis looking for aMarketing Coordinatorto join our team.



Working with us, you will:



  • Assist with writing, editing and production of project marketing support materials (qualifications packages, proposals, presentations/interviews, etc.)
  • Draft content and graphic layout of marketing materials such as proposals, awards, presentation abstracts, blog development, content messaging, etc.
  • Gather, format and maintain accurate, up-to-date firm marketing information including staff bios, project descriptions and statistics, and other information for marketing purposes in corporate database.
  • Partner with technical staff to create concepts for and develop marketing collateral.
  • Support the implementation of corporate initiatives and social media participation.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating photography shoots and managing photo documentation of projects and staff, including formatting and filing in database.
  • Assist with/coordinate special events.
  • Conduct and coordinate a range of marketing support activities as directed.


An ideal candidate has:



  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of related experience required. Experience in the A/E/C industry or professional services marketing preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Acrobat & InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Bridge, Deltek Vision, and social media platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, clients and others in a professional, courteous manner.
  • The ability to manage time and resources to produce and deliver project assignments under strict deadlines.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative, engaging, fast-paced environment and work well with all levels of staff.

While we may ultimately pay more or less than a posted salary range, at the time of posting the anticipated salary range for this position is $26.50 to $28.85 per hour.
