Job Description




As a Security Officer Alarm Systems Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime
Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to site rules and posted instructions.
  • Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related issues, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
