Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Circuit in Foster City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, work collaboratively, and act with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
