We are seeking a Sr Manager, Global SEO / AEO to lead how nVent is discovered across global digital channels. Reporting to the Sr Director of Marketing Technology, this new role sits at the intersection of marketing, platforms, and performance, where success depends on an ability to influence, teach and transform key organizational decision makers. You'll work across global teams to align priorities and shape how search operates at scale in a highly matrixed, enterprise environment. ** This is a full time, direct-hire position with a hybrid work schedule of 4 days/week on-site in St. Louis Park, MN. ** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Own nVent's enterprise and global Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy, ensuring strong search visibility as discovery shifts toward answer engines powered by large language models (LLMs).
- Build and scale a global SEO/AEO Center of Excellence, establishing governance, standards, training, decision frameworks, and measurement across brands and regions.
- Act as the enterprise product owner for SEO/AEO, partnering with Marketing, Digital IT, and analytics teams to define priorities, roadmaps, success metrics, and intake processes.
- Lead enterpriselevel organic search strategy, including intentbased keyword research, competitive and gap analysis, content prioritization, information architecture direction, and performance optimization.
- Translate emerging AI search and LLM trends into practical guidance, shaping how content is structured and interpreted by search and answer engines.
- Enable marketing teams and content owners to apply SEO and AEO principles consistently, integrating searchaligned decisionmaking into everyday workflows.
- Align organic, paid, and agency search efforts, partnering with external agencies to amplify impact and support enterprise demand and leadgeneration objectives.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree in Writing, Content Strategy, Marketing, or Digital Marketing preferred.
- 7+ years of handson SEO experience in an agency, matrixed organization, or global enterprise environment.
- 5+ years leading enterprise or global SEO strategy, including governance, prioritization, and crossfunctional influence.
- Exposure to or training in AEO preferred, with an understanding of how answer engines and LLMs influence visibility, citations, content structure, and B2B buyer behavior.
- Experience partnering with technical teams on initiatives that improve organic search performance, including web development collaboration, platform implementations or migrations, and digital transformation.
- Fluency with SEO and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs, SEMrush) and the ability to translate performance data into executivelevel insights.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $123,500.00 - $229,500.00
