Lead Business Systems Analyst

The Opportunity

Ulteig's Lead Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in driving clarity, alignment, and execution across complex, crossfunctional business systems initiatives. Operating independently at a high level of complexity, this role partners closely with business and IT stakeholders to define solutions that inform strategic outcomes, shape future processes, and influence enterprise standards.

What You'll Do

Own Complex Analysis and Solution Direction

• Independently lead analysis efforts for complex, ambiguous, and highimpact initiatives spanning multiple teams, business units, and systems.
• Adapt analytical approaches to address unique challenges, incomplete information, and competing stakeholder needs.
• Define and drive solution direction, informing project planning, sequencing, and execution decisions.
• Make decisions that influence project direction and functional outcomes, escalating risks and tradeoffs appropriately.

Deliver EnterpriseLevel Impact

• Partner with business leaders to translate needs into clear problem statements, requirements, and solution options that support strategic outcomes.
• Assess and articulate crossfunctional impacts, dependencies, risks, and longterm implications of proposed solutions.
• Regularly contribute to organizational improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve usability, reduce risk, or increase system effectiveness.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and goto resource for complex business systems questions across teams.

Lead and Influence Across Teams

• Own projectlevel planning and execution for analysis and design activities.
• Lead or colead crossfunctional efforts, aligning stakeholders through structured facilitation and clear decision support.
• Build strong working relationships across business and IT to gain buyin and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Represent Business Systems perspectives in governance, design reviews, and decision forums.

Design Sustainable, Integrated Solutions

• Lead the analysis and design of solutions involving business processes, enterprise applications, integrations, data flows, and security considerations.
• Evaluate options across process change, configuration, customization, integration, and new technologies.
• Partner with architecture, security, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and are scalable and sustainable.
• Review and challenge vendor proposals and solution designs to ensure alignment with Ulteig's broader systems landscape.

Provide Leadership and Mentorship

• Provide guidance, coaching, and informal mentorship to Business Systems Analysts and other professionals.
• Share best practices, patterns, and templates that improve analytical rigor and consistency.
• Contribute to the ongoing maturity of Ulteig's business analysis capability through practical leadership and example.

• Advanced ability to analyze complex business and systems problems and develop wellreasoned recommendations.

• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously with minimal oversight.

What We Expect from You

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Typically 7-10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, business analysis, or consulting in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience owning analysis and solution direction for complex, crossfunctional initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence decisions and outcomes across teams.
• Experience producing executiveready analysis, recommendations, and decision support.
• Background in professional services or consulting environments preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of professional services operations (e.g., accounting, project delivery, resource management).
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations, enhancements, or modernization efforts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azurebased solutions) preferred.
• Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $ $111,200 - $150,400
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.
