We are seeking a motivated Junior Program Analyst to support the Tactical Airlift Program Office in providing programmatic, analytical, and administrative support across a portfolio of aviation platforms and associated mission systems. This role will assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of acquisition activities that support tactical airlift capabilities critical to fleet operations and mission readiness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of supporting a fast-paced, collaborative environment within a DoD acquisition setting.

Duties:



  • Provide day-to-day program support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Assist in the development and tracking of program schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support financial management activities, including budget tracking and execution reporting
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for leadership review
  • Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, and document minutes and action items
  • Maintain program documentation, including SharePoint repositories and official records
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform program decisions
  • Assist with tracking risks, issues, and action items across program stakeholders
  • Interface with government, military, and contractor personnel to support program objectives


Required Education:



  • Associate's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field


Allowable Substitution:

Two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for an Associate's degree.

Required Experience:



  • 0-3 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level experience acceptable)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn DoD acquisition processes and program management practices


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Exposure to DoD or Navy acquisition environment (e.g., NAVAIR)
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or program coordination
  • Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, MS Project, or Power BI
  • Understanding of DoD 5000 series or acquisition lifecycle concepts
  • Interest or experience in aviation or tactical airlift platforms


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $39,632.19-$67,225.60 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
