Job Description




As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol in Wesley Chapel, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, and communicate professionally with staff, patients, and guests regarding security-related matters.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly, and relay pertinent information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
