Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Women's Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

• Responsible for assisting in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist, including but not limited to maintaining patient treatment areas and basic clerical support.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience
• One (1) year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting as a therapy technician
