PURPOSE

The HCM Business Analyst is engaged in administrative and technical support for the HR technical team. The team member will provide routine and adhoc analytical and reporting support for the organization by partnering with business leaders to manage and interpret HR data. In addition, they will be responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project management for assigned strategic projects, including, but not limited to, project definition, project plans, conducting meetings, documenting requirements, overseeing process and technology implementation, and developing business test cases. The ideal candidate enjoys learning, change, solving complex problems, and working with a high performing team while possessing excellent time management skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Participates in process design sessions and provides subject matter expertise in functional areas, building consensus and ensuring business involvement in development of analytical and reporting solutions.
  • Manage large scale process improvement and/or technology implementation projects to successful completion.
  • Responsible for the overall success of meeting project objectives and timelines
  • Conduct project start-up activities such as kick-off meetings, communicating individual roles and project expectations, and serving as a primary point of contact for projects.
  • Complete and manage detailed project plans to report project tasks, timeline, status, manage issues, and document risks.
  • Responsible for documenting business requirements and developing test business cases to be approved by the project owner.
  • Manage and support communications and training efforts for deployment activities of the project to ensure a seamless execution and preparing the business for change.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure program adopted and working as expected.
  • Partner with the business leaders and system admins to project requirements are being met.
  • Other duties may be assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

4-6 years of professional experience in HCM, Payroll, HR, or Benefits processing/administration, or combination of similar relevant experience

COMPETENCIES



  • PC proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels within the organization as evidenced by success in working collaboratively with others to effectively coordinate activities to accomplish tasks
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written communication skills to create effective technical documentation and/or user training materials as required

  • Occasional travel, including air travel and overnight stay(s) may be required.

In addition to the base wage listed, this position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the bonus varies based on overall company success, thresholds met and other terms and conditions of the Company's active bonus policy for the respective year.
