This role will support both the Procurement and Materials departments. The Procurement Organization's mission is to deliver cost effective and valued procurement services through strategic, diverse, and sustainable business solutions. Our work requires close integration with all lines of business, finance, and our suppliers. The Materials Organization strategically manages and delivers critical resources to enable operational excellence across the enterprise. Our team ensures timely availability of high-quality, shovel-ready materials through robust planning, inventory optimization, and precise logistics coordination. Position Summary The Supply Chain AI Enablement Intern will support the design, development, and adoption of AI-driven solutions across supply chain operations. This role bridges supply chain domain knowledge with data, analytics, and emerging AI tools to improve processes across various supply chain disciplines. (Procurement, supplier risk, materials management, logistics, and decision-making.) The intern will work closely with supply chain leaders, data scientists, and IT partners to help translate operational needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will gain: Hands-on experience applying AI to real-world supply chain challenges, Exposure to enterprise-scale data, systems, and transformation initiatives, Mentorship from supply chain, analytics, and technology professionals, and Development of highly marketable skills at the intersection of operations and AI. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
