Description: Our customer is seeking an RF Engineer to support a Navyled team developing electronic warfare (EW) systems primarily for the U.S. Marine Corps. This role is fully onsite at Point Mugu, California. The team is composed of lead Navy engineers and additional contractors from TEKsystems. In this position, the RF Engineer will work alongside and support Navy RF engineers in the development of EW systems. Responsibilities will center on RF hardware design, prototyping, and testing, along with integration of supporting software. Skills: RF Engineering, Antenna, Radio frequency, Wireless network, Radio, Design, Troubleshooting, Telecommunication Additional Skills & Qualifications: * RF systems development * Performance analysis * Data analysis * Support of firmware, software and hardware integration and test * Follow supplied USMC operational scenarios, requirements, and architecture framework (DoDAF) for system development. * Assist the systems engineer with the generation and documentation of a new system's architecture and design (power, RF, and functional block diagrams). * Review system thermal, safety, and reliability analyses. * Assist the system engineers with new system design features to enhance USMC supportability and maintainability of the system. * Research and make recommendations on COTS components for system development based on system performance requirements, size, weight, and power constraints, etc. * Support system prototyping at the bench level, in order to technically evaluate potential COTS components for possible use in new systems and to then evaluate subsequent system design performance.
