WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Waukesha County's Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting for an LTE RN or LPN to join our pool nursing team within the Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Use Services Clinic. This would be an ongoing assignment working approximately 8 hours per week with potential for additional hours as the schedule permits. The Outpatient Clinic is located within the Waukesha County Human Services Center (514 Riverview Avenue, Waukesha). Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Primary duties will include nursing support for clients receiving psychiatric prescribing services within the Waukesha County DHHS outpatient services array. Support services may include: Administering injectable psychotropic medication, vitals assessment, health education, urine drug screens, coordination with pharmacies and psychiatric prescribers, order entry, triage of client inquiries regarding symptoms or medication needs, and other nursing duties as identified.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. Graduation from a recognized registered nursing education program.
2. A. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.

OR

B. Temporary State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse permit and attainment of the Registered Nurse license within 6 months of employment.
