POSITION SPECIFICS The College of the Liberal Arts at Penn State is seeking an Administrative Foundations Intern for Summer 2026 for an experiential learning opportunity designed to introduce students to the operations of an academic college. Through structured rotations, handson training, and professional mentorship, the Administrative Foundations Intern will gain foundational administrative and professional skills while learning how an academic college functions behind the scenes. The Administrative Foundations Intern will rotate through three core functional areas - Academic Program Support, Events Management, and General Departmental Administrative Support - and complete the following key responsibilities:

It is preferable that candidates have completed one year of an Associate Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Marketing. Additional Information: This is a paid internship, spanning June to August 2026. Relocation and housing are not provided. There is a possibility of this position being extended into the 2026-27 academic year and/or Summer 2027. CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
