ESCO Maritime Solutions is a world leader in Signature Management and Power Conversion solutions for the US and UK naval defense market. Our solutions enable critical mission system capabilities and increase naval stealth on submarine and surface ship platforms.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Analyze production lines and devise test procedures to identify manufacturing deficiencies that cause quality control issues
  • Develop standards for the department
  • Document how systems work and analyzing the state of the system
  • Write, execute and manage test cases
  • Process documentation and workflows. Do process improvement and help build standards
  • Form tools and ideas needed for day-to-day management
  • Participate in designing metrics for measuring performance and process improvements
  • Provide suppliers with technical oversight and expertise in areas such as process development, Lean Six Sigma tools, measurement systems, preventive maintenance, and mistake proofing



Required Skills:



  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, quality control processes and manufacturing workflows
  • Ability to identify defects, inconsistencies or process deviations
  • Strong analytical thinking to troubleshoot quality issues and suggest solutions
  • Ability to document findings, write reports and effectively communicate with teams
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and an aptitude for learning new software packages
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens)



Desired Skills:



  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Familiarity with tools like calipers, micrometers or CMM
  • Internship or project experience in quality engineering, manufacturing or product testing



Compensation Information

Base Hourly Range: $ 20.00
