Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Manages and maintains all inventory, parts or products housed in the warehouse management system. Monitors inventory levels and fulfills orders as required.

Essential Functions

  • Reviews, counts, and logs all inventory received, calculates average item price, updates and ensure price in the warehouse management system is listed and is accurate.

  • Responsible for unloading, processing, and stocking all incoming inventory while maximizing productivity and efficiency in all areas of warehouse operations.

  • Participates in the completion of daily physical inventory counts and ensures all shipments are wrapped in a way that will maintain product integrity through the distribution process.

  • Processes completed receipts through the warehouse management system, closes out Ship Manager for tracking updates, organizes receipts, sales orders and Ship Manager documents

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Fulltime

  • Compensation: $17.20 - $20.23 hourly

  • Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm depending on business needs

  • This position is onsite, not open to a remote or hybrid schedule.

  • Not eligible for Sponsorship

  • This position is not eligible for relocation


Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED required. Additional related experience may offset degree requirements.

Minimum Experience

Experience working in a fast-paced transportation/warehouse environment. Additional related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good communication skills.

Ability to proficiently communicate verbally and in writing using the English language.

General business skills such as typing; data entry and review; and use of phone, copier, and fax.

Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Customer service skills necessary to respond to requests effectively and professionally.

Ability to operate a forklift and load/unload freight and P&D trucks.
