PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Soo Line Railroad Company, dba CPKC, seeks a Sr. Specialist, Business Intelligence Developer (BW) in our Kansas City, MO, office to drive the development, support, and optimization of our Business Intelligence (BI) solutions utilizing SAP BW and SAP Business Objects platforms. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders, lead technical projects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytical solutions. Sr. Specialist, Business Intelligence Developer (BW) will also provide mentorship to junior team members and ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of our BI systems. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics/Computer Engineering or a closely related IT field. The position requires 5 years of progressively responsible experience in SAP BW development and support, with two full cycle development, and 3 years of working with SAP transactional systems such as ECC and CRM. We also require 3 years of hands-on experience with ABAP programming and Business Objects development using the various toolsets (Web Intelligence, Dashboards, and Information Design, Analysis for Microsoft Office). Experience may be gained concurrently. Travel up to 30% to Calgary, Canada.
