Position Summary: Responsible for general shop duties including: paint prep work, spray and/or hand painting, hydro pressure testing assembled products, movement of material throughout plant, making machine name plates, cutting materials on saw, supporting palletizing/crating of skids and other miscellaneous tasks as needed. Essential (Major) Job Functions Please list the most essential elements of the duties/requirements of the work being performed along with an estimate of total time spent on each function. Paint finished product in a manner that supports the workflow of the group Examines finished painted product to verify conformance to company standards Support Palletizing/Crating of units Cut materials on Saw for Production Team Operate Hydro pressure testing equipment Hydro Pressure test assembled products Ability to troubleshoot and maintain paint booth equipment/area Operate name plate printer machine Operate a forklift Other Job Functions Selecting and mixing coating paints to manufacturer standards Willingness to take direction and be a self-starter when not working under direct supervision Cleaning and maintain of spraying and hydro equipment Maintaining proper respirator care and operation Job Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to follow all safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out work instructions given Specialized Skills: Ability to use hand tools and power tools Ability to pass forklift driving test About Us Steam Thermal Solutions is one of four businesses within Spirax Group, with global coverage across 67 operating units.
